Crape Myrtle Trimming and the value of winterizing your lawn

Trimac Outdoor Jacksonville & Orlando Landscaping tips
Just want to update everyone on our treatment schedule.  We applied winterizer fertilizers to all of our treatment clients in late november early december this year due to the mild winter.  So everyone is clear, winterizers will not green the lawn, however what it will do is create a strong root base to take on the freezes that winter time may bring.  This winterization process allows the treated turf to come back strong in the Spring.  Your lawn will go from brown to green faster than those that do not winterize.
Crape myrtle trimming will be done around middle through the end of February.  We wait until all freezes are over to trim the crape myrtles.  This prevents damage from freezes to the tree.  Feel free to ask any questions folks.
